I.T.T.I.’s Basic Firearm Training Courses teach you key safety principles and helps you develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are needed to successfully pursue your particular shooting interests.

One of I.T.T.I.’s major objectives has been to provide basic training in the safe and proper use of firearms. At I.T.T.I. we provide most of the Basic Firearm Training Courses including: Basic and Advance Pistol course, Basic and Advance Rifle course, Basic and Advance shotgun course, Home Firearm safety, and Personal and Body Guard Protection.

I.T.T.I. offers firearms training for a variety of firearm types. I.T.T.I.’s team of trained instructors is available on an as-needed basis for pre-training or post training.

Basic Handgun Training provides participants with the fundamental information, education, and training to safely handle a handgun. Classroom and range instruction covers the essentials of marksmanship, handgun safety, handling, care and cleaning.

Classes include hands-on shooting at an indoor range, personal instruction on handgun safety, control and fundamental skill development. Each student begins shooting exercises with un-timed drills to develop and enhance safety skills and proper technique.

FIRST (Firearm Instruction, Responsibility and Safety Training) STEPS
This is the latest addition to the I.T.T.I. training program for new shooters. FIRST STEPS provides hands-on orientation to one specific rifle, pistol or shotgun model in as little as three hours. FIRST STEPS includes a one-hour instructor supervised shooting session on a range.

State of Florida approved Concealed Weapon Permit Training
Never before has it been more important for individuals to take responsibility for their own protection. Few things are as traumatizing, personal and demanding of an individual’s readiness as self defense emergencies. By learning how to immediately take charges of a personal defense emergency you will better appreciation the need for personal responsibility of your actions and become not only a better prepared student of defense but a better citizen as well.

Basic Handgun Training / Custom Extended Handgun Training
I.T.T.I. offers Basic Handgun Training and Custom Extended Handgun Training. Our classes are designed to help keep all participants continually involved in the education and safe handling of handguns. Our knowledgeable instructors will deliver professional training to assure each student becomes proficient in the use of a handgun. Make certain the training you receive is the best; it could ultimately save your life.

ITTI’s Use of Force Training is designed to meet the needs of Law Enforcement, Corrections and Security Officers throughout the state of Florida. ITTI’s staff consists of Certified Law Enforcement Instructors who understand the training needs of a 21st Century Law Enforcement/Security Professional. ITTI recognizes the need for mandatory retraining in Use of Force and for this reason specifically provides certification and recertification training such as ASP, OC “Pepper” Spay, Baton and Impact Weapons, Edged Weapon Defense, Handcuffing, Ripp Hobble Leg Restraint Training and X26 & X29 Taser Training.

OC "Pepper" Spray
This course teaches the student drawing techniques, delivery methods and to appreciate the effects of OC on subjects. It also covers decontamination measures, first aid procedures, and proper application within the law.

A.S.P. /Baton & Impact Weapons
This course focused on teaching proper use of an ASP, straight baton and/or expandable friction lock or pin lock baton. The course includes introduction to proper strike zones, stance, blocking techniques, and striking techniques.

Handcuffing Course / Ripp Hobble Leg Restraint
This course introduces the student to proper application techniques of temporary restraint systems. This includes types of systems, restraint guidelines, stances, cuffing positions, and supplemental techniques.

M26, X26 & (X26c civilian version) Taser
This course introduces the student to proper application and placement techniques. Proper application within the law and proper procedure for removal and storage of Taser probes.

Executive Protection Concepts, Methods and Tactics Training
This program is designed for Elite law enforcement and security personnel. The objective of this course is to ensure that our trainees will have the knowledge that allows them to both respond to and neutralize a wide variety of threats to the safety and wellbeing of the clients under their protection. To provide our trainees the essential concepts necessary to render protective services to a broad scope of clients in a wide range of environments; to enable our trainees to provide reliable, efficient and professional services to their clients beyond the boundaries of their region or country and to qualify, raise and enhance the operational capability of the trainees for the operation of a Executive Protection Team.
